Terms of Use for Notiq: Private Notes

By downloading or using Notiq: Private Notes (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Ownership & User Content
- All notes, recordings, transcriptions, and other content you create remain your property.
- Notiq does not claim ownership over your content.
- The App provides tools to privately record, store, and view notes locally on your device.
License to Use the App
- We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the App or any part of it, except as permitted by law.
Subscriptions & Purchases
- Some features of the App may require a paid subscription.
- All subscriptions are processed and managed by Apple through the App Store.
- Pricing, billing cycles, free trials, and renewals are handled by Apple.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings.
- We do not handle payments or store payment information.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to access or extract data from the App that does not belong to you
- Interfere with the security or functionality of the App
- Circumvent subscription or access controls
Data & Privacy
- All user content is stored locally on your device.
- The App does not provide cloud backup or data recovery.
- Deleting the App removes all locally stored content.
- Privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
- The App is provided “as stated” and “as available”.
- We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- Features may change or be discontinued at any time.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any data loss, device issues, or damages resulting from use of the App.
- We are not responsible for lost content due to device failure, system updates, or app deletion.
- Use of the App is at your own risk.
Updates & Changes
- We may update the App or these Terms from time to time.
- Changes will be published with an updated effective date.
- Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Termination
- You may stop using the App or delete it at any time.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
