Notiq: Private Notes (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your notes, recordings, and transcriptions remain on your device and are never accessed by us.
User Content
- All text notes, audio recordings, transcriptions are stored locally on your device.
- Content is processed using on-device technologies only.
- We do not collect, store, transmit, or analyze your notes, recordings, or transcriptions.
- We have no technical access to your personal content.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Audio recordings or voice data
- Text notes or transcriptions
- Personal content of any kind
Limited Non-Content Data
To operate, improve, and market the app, Notiq may collect limited non-content data, such as:
- App version and build number
- Device type and operating system version
- Country or region (derived from system settings)
- Anonymous usage events (e.g. feature usage, screen views)
- Subscription status and purchase events
- Crash reports and performance diagnostics
This data is never linked to your notes or recordings.
Third-Party SDKs
Notiq uses the following third-party SDKs:
RevenueCat
Used for subscription and purchase management.
Does not have access to user content.
Firebase
Used for crash reporting, app stability, and basic analytics.
Does not collect or process user-generated content.
Mixpanel
Used for product analytics to understand feature usage and improve the app experience.
Events are anonymous and do not include personal content.
AppsFlyer
Used for advertising attribution and campaign performance measurement.
Does not receive access to notes, recordings, or transcriptions.
Used for advertising measurement and attribution.
Meta does not receive user content from the app.
All SDKs are configured to operate without access to user-generated content.
Advertising & Tracking
- Notiq does not sell personal data.
- We do not share notes, recordings, or transcriptions with advertisers.
- Advertising SDKs are used only for attribution and campaign measurement.
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT) is respected. Tracking permissions are requested only when required by the system.
Encryption & Security
- All notes and recordings are encrypted locally using AES-256.
- Encryption keys are protected by the device’s secure hardware and passcode mechanisms.
- Optional app-level protection (Face ID / passcode) is handled entirely on the device.
Data Storage & Backup
- Notiq does not sync data to external servers.
- All user content remains on your device.
- Any backups are controlled by the operating system and user settings.
Children’s Privacy
Notiq does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Since all content remains on-device, no personal information is transmitted or stored by us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as features and integrations evolve. Updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
