Are my notes stored in the cloud?

No. All notes, recordings, and transcriptions are stored locally on your device. Notiq does not sync or upload your data.


Can you access my notes or recordings?

No. We do not have technical access to your content.


Is transcription done offline?

Yes. Speech recognition and transcription are processed on your device and work offline.

An internet connection is only required to download the speech recognition model to your device. Once the model is installed, transcription works without an internet connection.


What happens if I delete the app?

All locally stored data is permanently removed with the app.


Why can transcription be less accurate?

Accuracy depends on language selection, audio quality, and background noise. Choosing the correct language improves results.


Do I need an account?

No. Notiq does not require account creation.


How do subscriptions work?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple via the App Store. You can manage or cancel them in your App Store settings.
